The interior of each barrel features a medium char, which interacts with the spirit stored inside. Due to the smaller surface area-to-volume ratio compared to commercial-sized barrels, these units facilitate a different aging timeline.

Each unit is constructed from oak and comes equipped with a wood cradle stand, a wooden spigot, and a wood bung. Depending on current inventory, the exterior may feature either 4 or 6 metal hoops. Proper preparation is required: users must follow the provided instructions to cure the barrel for 3-5 days prior to the first use to ensure proper sealing.
